Juniorz

This section of the company involves all the young singers / dancers aged 8-18. Performers aged under 8 will be considered if the talent is outstanding, as places are prioritised by star potential!

The Juniorz work towards a show every term. The format will be subject to change, but at least twice a year they will be invited to join the adult showstopperz for a company performance, and the juniorz will have a production of their own when not merged with the main company.

The Juniorz will meet once a week to rehearse towards their current production, and there are two branches of Showstopperz to choose from. Rehearsals are held in Inverness, and are taken by the Professional members of the team, Reno and Dionne, who have extensive international performing experience.

For successful applicants, Juniorz fees are charged at £15 per week, which includes a 3 hour session. If extra rehearsals are called for a show, no extra charges are added. Fees are paid termly in advance, or a £45 deposit can be made to cover 3 weeks rehearsals, then the balance will be due and cleared before anymore sessions can be attended.

Showstopperz is run by trained professionals with Enhanced Disclosure Scotland certificates. The Juniorz rehearsal venue is securely locked during all sessions, and no spectators are permitted in our rehearsal studio for the safety and protection of the young artists.

For the security and peace of mind for all parents & guardians, we forbid Showstopperz Juniorz artists from leaving the premises at any time during rehearsals unless the express permission has been given in writing from a parent or guardian. At the end of each rehearsal, Juniorz artists will remain at the doorway of the rehearsal venue until they have line of sight to their parent / guardian.

Photography of Showstopperz Juniorz Artists performing is occasionally required to further promote the company. These pictures would be for the sole use of the website, www.showstopperz.co.uk and/or the corresponding facebook page. If any parent or guardian wishes for their child to not appear in any published photographs, this can be expressed in writing. If for any reason a professional photographer is used for press or promotional purposes, we will notify parents and guardians in advance. Performances are also recorded via video, and are used for promotional purposes of Showstopperz.
