Starting in January 2011, Showstopperz will be running a series of public speaking seminars designed to help individuals effectively communicate to a variety of different audiences, with valuable insight on tailoring this to specific needs. The advantage of beginning a journey into perfecting the art of public speaking is that it can be applied in a multitude of circumstances; whether it's business, giving a speech at a social function, sales pitching, or countless other situations.

Course Overview
This intensive session will be 3 hours in length, and there will be a maximum of 12 participants on each course so that individual attention is guaranteed. There will be a vast range of topics introduced, some of which are:
- Conquering stage fright
- Posture and its affect on voice work
- Projecting / speaking "on the voice" without damaging the vocal cords.
- The anatomy of the voice
- How actors and singers connect with audiences
- Use of intonation, pauses, syntax, vocabulary
- A comprehensive list of "do's and don'ts"
- Articulation exercises / Physical and mental preparation
Anyone can take this course, even if they have yet to stand in front of a crowd and deliver a speech/pitch/report etc. Everybody has the potential to make vast improvements in their public speaking, and the most important thing is to see it as a developing skill. Practice and application of the methods given in the course will continually allow you to improve your techniques of delivery.
