Reno Troilus - BMus (Hons), Mmus Opera, M Opera
Reno was born in Glasgow and studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, where he obtained his BMus (Hons), Mmus Music and Masters of Opera. He has performed as a principal guest artist in major opera houses across Europe, and his British operatic appearences include the English National Opera at the London West End and Scottish Opera. His performances have been broadcast live on both television and BBC Radio, and he was featured in The Mail on Sunday in 2006 as one of Britain's fastest rising opera stars. In 2009, he was a soloist in the opening concert of the Edinburgh International Festival, which aired on Radio 3. Reno has recently recorded with film composer, Craig Armstrong, whose works include titles such as Moulin Rouge, Love Actually, The Incredible Hulk.
Gail Johnston: Principal of Juniorz
Gail studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, and received her BMus (Hons) degree, PG Dip Mus Opera and Masters of Opera, before embarking on a professional career in both the concert platform and the operatic stage. Her performing background is also backed by a lifetime of dance, including claim to World Champion at the UKA Highland Games in 1995. She has sung in major venues in the UK and has sung principal roles for companies such as Scottish Opera and Edinburgh International Festival. Gail is now a core professional of SHOWSTOPPERZ.
Dionne Monteiro: Choreographer
Dionne studied dance at the Hammond School in Chester from 1978-1984 and graduated with Advanced RAD and ISTD ballet, Advanced ISTD modern and qualifications in tap, ballroom, national dance and drama. Dionne worked as a professional dancer all over the world for 13 years and while in Japan performed with Madonna, Whitney Houston and Donna Summer.
